Product Description

• C45 Round Bars are unalloyed medium carbon steel bars, commonly used in general carbon engineering applications.
• They offer good machinability and excellent tensile properties.
• Typically supplied in black hot-rolled or occasionally normalized condition.
• Available in various forms:
  • Round Bar: Diameter ranges from 8 mm to 450 mm.
  • Steel Plate: Thickness from 2 mm to 200 mm, with dimensions of 1250 / 2000 x 5000 / 6300.
  • Flat Bar: Width from 200 mm to 1000 mm.
  • Square Bar: Ranging from 20 mm to 800 mm.
  • Hexagon Bar: Various sizes.
• Surface finishes include black, rough machined, or turned, as per requirements.
• Chemical Composition (Grade 1045):
  • Carbon : 0.40-0.50%
  • Manganese (Mn): 0.60-0.90%
  • Phosphorus (P): 0.035%
  • Sulfur (S): 0.035%
  • Silicon (Si): 0.15 0.35%
• Applications:
  • Widely used in industries requiring strength and wear resistance.
